Chief Solomon Aguene is the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos according to a recent court verdict.
In a recent press conference held on Thursday at the Lagos State Secretariat of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos at 19 Robertson Street, Surulere Lagos, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene alongside Chairmen of Ohanaeze Ndigbo across the LCDAs addressed journalists on the critical subject matter.
Chief Aguene directed anyone who needs clarification to meet with the Igbo stakeholders present.
Also, he declared that anyone ignoring the valid Court judgment by claiming to be duly elected President of Ohanaeze where there is subsisting Court judgment that declared Chief Aguene as Authentic President by the Lagos State High Court is doing so at his or her own risk.

Furthermore Chief Solomon emphasized that any action contrary to the subsisting Court judgment will amount to Contempt and impersonation that could land that person in more trouble and possible imprisonment.

Aguene said that the current leadership crisis is being handled by Chairmen of Ohanaeze Ndigbo across the LCDAs and directed anyone who needs clarification to meet with them.
In Nigeria, disobeying a subsisting court judgment can have serious consequences, including: Civil contempt- Disobeying a court judgment can be considered civil contempt, which can result in fines, imprisonment, or both. Also it can be a Criminal contempt which can result in more severe penalties, including imprisonment.
Actem News Africa reports that Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos has reiterated the need for all Igbos and stakeholders to respect the court verdict authenticating him as President Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos.
He states, in this interview with journalists in a press conference, that the Consent Judgement in his favour validates his tenure till 2026.
Therefore, Chief Aguene argues, in the interview, that the deliberate attempts by some members of the socio cultural organization to play down the Consent Judgment is an assault on Nigeria’s justice system which must be condemned.
