Dr Bolaji O. Akinyemi, host of the Lagosians convention has condemned the recent attacks on Igbos in Lagos state. Speaking journalists at a press conference organised in Lagos, he said that we all must continue to live as brothers and sisters in Lagos state.

Dr Bolaji Akinyemi who also spoke to ACTEM NEWS AFRICA in an exclusive interview said that he is the convener of Apostolic Round Table, a forum for discussing problems of leadership and proferring solutions. He also emphasized the need for good governance in Lagos state. He advised everyone to vote wisely for a great leader who will take Lagos state to the next level.
Dr Bolaji also told press men that the group he represents called “Leaders After God’s Own Spirit Initiating A New State (L.A.G.O.S.I.A.N.S)” is a global movement of leaders from the Christians and Muslims religious groups respectively, with an objective of strengthening the leadership of Lagos state and the society at large. He appreciated the presence of Dr Femi Ferguson and Pastor Mrs O. Salami.
Dr Femi Ferguson who is the president of Pentecostal Family Network, condemned the attacks on Igbos. He told politicians vying for political positions to stop using inciting comments and actions to instigate violence and shun ethnic conflicts to avoid war.
