Zenith Bank Unveils Seamless Payment Option for Dangote Cement Traders

Lagos, Nigeria – April 30, 2025 — Zenith Bank Plc has announced a new digital payment solution aimed at easing transactions for customers trading with Dangote Cement. The initiative allows corporate clients to conveniently make payments for cement purchases via the bank’s Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) portal.
According to a customer notice released by the bank, the feature is designed to streamline the payment process, reduce manual banking procedures, and enhance speed and transparency in business-to-business transactions within the cement distribution chain.
To access the service, users must log in to the Corporate Internet Banking portal and follow a simple nine-step process that includes selecting the Dangote Cement option under the ‘Payments’ tab, inputting product details, and validating the transaction using their unique customer code. Customers are also required to choose a preferred plant location during the process.
The bank stated that this innovation aligns with its commitment to driving financial technology solutions that support Nigeria’s industrial and construction sectors. Dangote Cement remains one of Africa’s leading producers of the commodity, with a robust distribution network across Nigeria.
